Notes

note: this recording came to me via a friend. The DATs
were labeled "Truck DAT CLUB FRONT, INC". I cloned the
tapes and copied the labels. I believe these to be
recordings by Bob & Betty in a truck outside the venue.
I believe the same truck was parked behind 4th Street
Tavern in San Rafael on July 5, 1999 to record David
Nelson Band (I was permitted to record the rough mix of
that on DAT).

Subject: corrupted files?

Thanks so much for the upload! Beautiful sound! Unfortunately, according to my computer, I can't download it due to corrupted files. I was listening to CR+S, and it stopped in the middle of the solo at different places each time.

Also, thanks for the intro joke Phil!

Subject: 1999 PLF is bombproof

This show is a prime example of the power of PLF in 1999. Some of the line ups this year are unbeatable! All of the Summer stuff thru August is outrageous and then some. Phils voice is jammin here and the music is really alive..........not to mention that this is a SBD. Thanks to all involved in getting this out to the public for download........simply wonderful....I could go on! --The PADJ
